A Weekend in Newport Beach

Newport Beach, California is the perfect marriage of relaxation and swank. Posh restaurants and upscale shopping juxtapose palm tree-lined beaches and sea swells that beckon surfers to ride the waves.

Our new pop up store is located in the Newport Beach shopping mecca Fashion Island. Famous for its koi pond and teeming with palm trees and colorful blooms, it embraces the quintessential indoor-outdoor, laidback-but-sophisticated lifestyle that defines California living, so we’re excited to call this locale our new home.

Have a taste...

Fable + Spirit and Lido Marina Village
Enjoy a little slice of Dublin right in the heart of Newport Beach at this recently appointed hotspot, owned and operated by the Coyle Family. The modern cuisine, peppered with nods to classic Irish fare, is enjoyed amongst richly painted turquoise walls, antiqued mirror accents and pops of mustard upholstery and brass finishes.              Set sail in style at Lido Marina Village, which prides itself on being the perfect combination of “casual, comfortable and chic,” a combination for which California is known. Enjoy waterfront dining at the world-famous Nobu, take a pilates class at Curl Fitness, find your signature scent at Le Labo, and join the crew at Electric Boat Rental and cruise the Newport Harbor.

Sonder Living Pop-up at Fashion Island

The Fashion Island shopping mall in Newport Beach offers an unparalleled retail experience with powerhouse brands like Balenciaga, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and more, making it the perfect place for us to pop up with our latest shop. While most of the space will feature Sonder Living creations, including case goods, lighting, artwork, and rugs, the other part of the shop will host outdoor furniture — apropos for the coastal town where outdoor living is paramount.

The Resort at Pelican Hill

If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, The Resort at Pelican Hill should be at the top of your list. Set on an oceanfront nature preserve, Crystal Cove, the resort captivates guests with its Italian Renaissance architecture, two 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Dolphin and sea lion sightings, water sports, tide pool explorations, and the Historic District dotted with beach cottages from the 1930s and ’40s will keep you busy during your visit.

If you've still got some time, why not check out our other store in Linden Rose & Co.  just a short drive from Newport Beach.
